Living in Boca Raton, Florida with 2 young children I have always valued a restaurant where kids eat free. I think the reason is obvious. I sit at Duffy’s on Tuesday when kids eat free on Wednesday and feel like a schmuck. I am paying more, and the restaurant obviously wants me to bring my kids tomorrow. They may even have a balloon artist like Karl Koppertop or a clown. So for all of you frequent Duffers out there, bring the little ones on Wednesdays. The following is a list of restaurants and when kids eat free:
Baja Fresh, in the Boca Garden Shoppes on Palmetto Rd and Powerline, EVERYDAY M-F
Brewzzi in the Boca Glades Shopping Center, Mondays and Tuesdays Kids 12 and under eat free at. Up to two free kids menu meals with an adult food purchase of $12 or more.
Moe’s Southwest Grill kids eat free Mondays.
Boca Ale House, Denny’s, and Stir Crazy (in the Boca Town Center), as well as Beef O’Bradys (in the Riverstone Shoppes on 441) & Gator’s Dockside & Tony Roma’s (multiple South Florida locations, but not Boca) all allow kids to eat free on Tuesdays.
NEW TO www.abiteofboca.com CHAMPPPS AMERICAN in Ft. Lauderdale now offers kids eat free on Tuesdays.
Duffy’s, Lucille’s Bad to the Bone BBQ (in the Regency Court at Woodfield) and the Rain Forest Cafe (Sawgrass) are the place to be, when kids eat free on Wednesdays.
Thursdays have less choice. Stir Crazy (in the Boca Town Center) allows kids to eat free, so you may want to go somewhere else on Tuesday and save this one for Thursday.
Friday’s will yield even less choice, and the only thing I can come up with is Baja Fresh (as I mentioned before kids eat free M-F). In the alternative the International House of Pancakes also allows kids to eat free, M-F.
As far as the weekends, your on your own. The Draft House on Powerline south of Palmetto advertises kids eat free everyday, but I have not been there yet to check it out.
The Thirsty Turtle Sea Grill recently opened on Yamato Rd off 441. The original allowed kids to eat free onWednesdays but as of today, this one does not conform. I will keep you posted.
JB’s on the Beach offers a kids menu, and though there is no kids eat free, the price is fair and nothing beats the view.
I will be checking out Bru’s Room shortly. I have to find out if they have a consistent policy in all locations.

Thanks for the article. It’s helpful, as I too, have two children and we rarely go out to eat. But, now I can make the most of it when we do.
Plus, just as an update the Draft House on Powerline and Palmetto is no longer. There is a new restaurant about to open there. Can’t recall the name though. Sorry.

For weekends, try Chicken Kitchen. The location on University Dr in Coral Springs at least lets kids eat free Saturdays and Sundays.

Also, Packy’s in West Boca has a kids eat free night on Tuesday nights with the purchase of a meal. (Wings and appetizers are excluded).
