I am busy researching a comprehensive guide to where kids can eat free in Boca Raton, FL. In the meantime we were in Coral Springs and have heard good things about Lefty’s Tavern & Grille. We had no problems there although my kids didn’t eat free because we ordered sandwiches and burgers but needed to order one of the few entrees on the menu to “qualify” for the deal. And we weren’t in the mood for entrees in this casual restaurant. But a bigger gripe is that with the kids meal came a soft drink. Milk or juice was extra. And I do not believe that a 4 year old should be given a choice of Coke or Sprite. Further, there was no healthier option than a side of french fries. No substitutions! While I can not recommend this place as a good play for “kids eat free” we did enjoy the balloon guy (although no one can compare with my friend Karl Koppertop.
